INFORMATION ON FORTHCOMING EVENTS
Presentation Evening – Saturday 19th June, Hyde Town Hall
By now you should have all pupils who have participated in exams should have received a letter giving detail about the Presentation Evening which will also double up as a Demonstration of examination work by the pupils. The slip that came with the letter requires completion and return to the studio whether you are or are not attending please. This will help me to ascertain numbers of pupils involved in order to plan the evening so it goes smoothly and of course professionally...... as we always strive to do. If of course you have mislaid the letter or have not yet seen it please let me know.
Easter Holiday Break
As a result of pending examinations taking place on 20th – 22nd April, a one week closure will be taken this Easter rather than the previously informed 2 weeks. I feel it is in the pupil’s best interests to hold as many lessons as possible so that they can attain the best marks possible !
Therefore last classes will take place on : SATURDAY 3RD APRIL
Class will resume on : MONDAY 12TH APRIL as per normal timetable
If any pupils involved in examinations are unable to make this additional week of lessons as a result of family holidays please could you inform me as soon as possible.
Annual School Show – Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th July 2010, RNCM Theatre, Manchester
A reminder that the school show will take place on the above dates. The theme of this year’s show is all about British Artists, hence the title “THE BRITS”. Rehearsals will begin after the last block of exams taking place in April, when it will be full steam ahead ! As with previous shows all pupils are included in the show unless of course I am told otherwise. Further information on tickets etc will be issued soon.
