Heatherlea School of Dance was established in 1992 by Joanne Scott. She advertised a general dance class for children to be held above Hadfield Library once a week. The first week saw 5 pupils enrol, all of varying age groups ! However on week 2 the numbers had tripled and from there on in the Heatherlea School of Dance evolved.

After some time the school moved to Bank Street Methodist Church Hall, where lesssons were held on a regular basis for all age groups. However when the church hall was subject to an arson attack this prompted us to move back to Hadfield Hall where the school continued to flourish for many years.
Throughout this time the school took part in many examination sessions and also appeared in several charity galas across the North West.

Since 2003 we have been in our purpose built studio premises situated on Station Road where classes take place every evening and all day Saturday. Children are given the opportunity to participate in regular examination sessions as well as Annual Shows.

I invite you to explore our website and all the information it contains. If there are any questions you feel have been unanswered then please feel free to contact me on any of the enclosed contact information.
